Our StoryIn 1972, Ross and Pauline Webber, together with Jack and Mary Taylor, founded a small company called Mayacamas Fine Foods. Ross had been an executive with Dole Pineapple for many years and was looking for a chance to start his own business with fresh ideas and a new vision. Mary Taylor was a well known gourmet chef and was looking to produce and market her newly created seasoning blends. They met quite by chance as their paths crossed at a bottle manufacturing company where they were both purchasing supplies to begin their separate ventures. They quickly formed a partnership and began producing Mary’s seasoning blends. After seeing the response to the seasonings, they began developing a line of dry soup mixes and eventually emerged the sauces, gravies and skillet tosses we know and love today.
Our decision to convert our products to Gluten-Free was not a difficult or drawn out decision. Since the brand was created, we have always been inspired by the meals we have shared with our ever expanding family and friends. As gluten intolerance became a societal issue and lifestyle, we knew we could help. By emerging as a gluten-free brand, we strive to create products that can be enjoyed by all, regardless of dietary factors and health conscious choices. We hope that our products will unite a dinner table based on great flavor and expansive options in the Gluten-Free world. We are proud to be a part of a growing industry and although all four founding partners have passed away, the company remains a small family enterprise and are grateful to have been able to continue operations in Sonoma, California, as we have for over 40 years. Seasoning BlendsThese were the very first products we created on the kitchen table, way back in 1972. You will find them to be totally unique, unlike anything you’ve ever used. A warning though…they can become quite addictive.

Soups..Great tasting and convenient, these complete soup mixes lend themselves to some interesting recipe variations you'll find on the package back. Each package makes about 3 cups of soup. Although we started as a soup company we now only have French Onion and are looking to bring back a few more.
